Haiti’s Poor Resort to Eating Dirt
Thanks to the US’ intevention in that sorry country about 4 years ago (to depose the evil, democratically elected President Aristide, remember?), a few Haitians have gotten quite creative in their baking practices — actually making cookies out of dirt to uh SELL them in the open market. “Fresh Baked Cookies!” Indeed, there is a referendum now on the ballot over there for the name of “Haiti” to be changed to the “People’s Republic of Hating It.” We plan to establish Hating It University (where you can major in “failed states” for example) down there as well!

not 2 sure how I feel about this one? I think tht it fails to recognize the historical underpinnings tht have forced Hati 2 become the desolate(?) and, for lack of a better word, pathetic nation-state that it is at present…but I on a side note..(not 2 take away from the seriousness of my 1st point) arent u craving a dirt browine right now…mmmm
