Fox and Friends wanted to talk about Heath Ledger; Montel wanted to talk about Iraq and U.S. soldiers…Montel won that fight..but the result of his win…Fox cancelled Montel’s talk show for the 2008-2009 season. Lesson Learned…Don’t mess with Fox…unless you are cool with losing your job

Ooopps…You got you facts wrong. The decision of key Fox stations declining to pick up Montel for the 2008 - 2009 season was made weeks before his appearance on Fox and Friends. I think your confusing it with the CBS announcement that it was pulling distribution, which was made three days after his appearance. But to continue the discussion, why would Montel pick a morning magazine show to Proselytize about what to cover? I mean, magazine shows, like FnF or GMA or Today are designed to provide a variety of topics each day. They are not NEWS shows, so was Montel saying they should all convert over to a hard news format without the other stuff? I didn’t get the point.

The CBS announcement effectively caused the show’s demise. And Fox had NOTHING to do with it, right?
