Bush claims we can’t let the new fisa bill expire, the one that legalized his previously illegal warrantless spying or there will surely be another terrorist attack. I guess, according to Bush, we can only be protected by such an important law if it includes immunity for his law-breaking friends in the telecom companies. He refuses to sign any law that does not include that even if — as he says — we are in grave danger without the law in place.
