Curious George “Obama ‘08″ T-Shirts Draw Protests
“Controversy is brewing over a t-shirt being sold by a Georgia bar owner that depicts presidential candidate Barack Obama as Curious George. The shirt features the smiling cartoon monkey peeling a banana with the words “Obama in ‘08″ printed underneath. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, the publisher that owns the rights to Curious George, is threatening a lawsuit. The company claims it never authorized the use of the character’s image. A spokesperson calls the shirt “utterly out of keeping with the values Curious George represents.” Bar owner Mike Norman says he does not consider the image to be racist”

Besides that, the guy selling them says it is not a racist movement. Get over yourself. Obama is more racist than anything poor Curious Goerge can conjure up anyway.

Dude, the shirt is racist. Any association made between a black person and a monkey is a racist association — and you know that, so don’t play dumb. Obama a racist? Please explain. Oh wait I know, it’s because of his Pastor Jeremiah Wright who he listened to for 20 years talk about evil white America, right? Of course, it makes perfect sense (to a KKK member).
