I now always expect the unknowing and uninformed to rant on in some immature ignorance on important issues. And here I see it again.
The Democrats and a few Republicans so encumbered the “Iraq War Bill” with pork and out-of-control “welfare funding,” that it is a full misnomer to in any way to alone call it a “veterans bill.” Cornyn was fully right in voting to kill the bill in support of President Bush’s upcoming veto because of all the added billions of pork attempting to ride to approval on the back of our veterans’ credibility. But it just didn’t work. Did it?
Any politician, and here, any blogging pundit, who skips the content of what this bill would actually fund is little more than a parrot for higher taxes, pork barrel spending, political disingenuousness, and needs to learn how to consider all the content in the written word. In this case, “the bill.”

Mr. Gman. Please name one piece of legislation that the Republicans have initiated that actually helps the men and women in uniform. I already know you cannot. Better yet, name one piece of legislation that the Republicans have initiated that helps ANYONE but their multi-billionaire corporate donors like Halliburton or Bechtel. All you need is one, but you will not be able to name any. You got some gaul blaming Dem’s for pork with all the no-bid contracts to incompetent expoitive and shoddy contractors in Iraq provided by Republicans. The pentagon is missing 9 billion dollars it can’t account for and you call giving GI’s a scholarship after they’ve been lied into fighting an unneccessary war — PORK???!!!! Hey G man, strap on an AK and get over to Iraq, they need your brave truth telling over there. But you won’t go, I already know that too.
