As the details of this dude’s dealings come to light….

Word of mouth sources tell Hating It Magazine that Edwards had cooked up quite a little scheme to keep his affair and his love child a secret. (Earlier Post on This) The plot involved payments to the mistress so she would keep Edwards’ name off of the birth certificate and refuse any request for a paternity test. It also involved payments to his campaign assistant who would then claim the kid was his. The plan was for Edwards’ to admit to the whole affair, deny the kid was his and profess his willingness to cooperate with any paternity test. Very neat set up, don’t you think? But add a few more things in the mix and you get one hating it scene for my man Edwards:

first, add the public disclosure of not only the affair and not only the child, but also the fact that now the world knows all about the hush money he paid.

Add to this the fact that Edwards may have paid his mistress out of the funds of one of his political action committies. This is a federal crime. Therefore ….
