OMG i can’t even watch the whole thing. the box reminds me blackface and other horrible exaggerated stereotype artifacts! This is VERY different from the New Yorker magazine cover. The New Yorker cover was a play on the ridiculous attacks and statements made by the Republican campaign. This is NOT a play on senseless attacks. This targets the interest of racist a**holes.
How can these 2 sit there and compare Aunt Jemina (sp?) to Newman’s own. If i’m not mistaken there is NO negative stereotype being perpetuated within Newman’s picture on his OWN product. On the other hand Aunt Jemina (sp?) depicts the classic stereotype of black woman as the asexual mammy! (i could go on….)
“Aunt Jemnia mean quality” give me a BREAK. I’m thinking about coming out with dunce caps in the shape of McCain’s face. this is to comment on the fact that he was practically in the bottom 1 per cent of his class. that should get some laughs right.
