And he deserves it, for claiming to Dave that he couldn’t do his show because he was “rushing back to Washington to deal with the financial crisis” when McCain actually remained in New York to appear on Katie Couric’s show in the same time slot! WTF! This is old school Letterman resurrected, classic stuff.
