Obama Lawyers Set to Defend John Yoo
That’s right. Jon Yoo, the sadistic Attorney who wrote legal opinions at the behest of the Bush Crime Family that twisted our laws and purported to make torture legal! This is unbelievable!
A few days ago, this criminal sadist wrote an Op Ed attacking the Obama administration for ending our torture policy. This tool actually wrote: “Mr. Obama may have opened the door to further terrorist acts on U.S. soil by shattering some of the nation’s most critical defenses.”

The fact is that the only reason that regimes use torture is to illicit false confessions and to terrorize their own populace. It has been proven time and again that torture NEVER produces useful information. And, contrary to Yoo’s bs and many other right-wing lies, torture HAS NOT kept us safe. Instead, it has put a big ol’ target on every American’s back and it has inspired many more to commit violence against our nation when they otherwise would not have.

Next week, [Obama Administration] Justice Department lawyers are set to ask a San Francisco federal judge to throw out a lawsuit brought against Yoo by Jose Padilla, a New York man held without charges on suspicion of being an Al Qaeda operative plotting to set off a “dirty bomb.”
The suit contends that Yoo’s legal opinions authorized Bush to order Padilla’s detention in a Navy brig in South Carolina and encouraged military officials to subject Padilla to aggressive interrogation techniques, including death threats and long-term sensory deprivation. full article
First of all, John Yoo should be disbarred and run out of the University of California at Berkeley, where he teaches law. He also needs to be criminally prosecuted for his role in enabling war crimes to be committed in our name under the color of law. In short, he should be made an example of for all future lawyer-enablers of criminal/terrorist regimes to behold. Enough of this hating it crap already. Aren’t you just sick of these morons!?
