“Me and Mitt are homeboys,” he said between sets last night with his Grammy nominated band LMFAO. “I think it’s time to celebrate that a rapper and politician can come together. . . . We want to celebrate the Vulcan-grip counter move.”

He then launched into “Shot,” a celebratory song. LMFAO opened for the Black Eyed Peas last night at the TD Garden.

Romney’s wife, Ann Romney, was seated behind Sky Blu on a first-class flight earlier this month. Blu said Romney grabbed him in a “Vulcan grip” and asked him to move his seat forward as the Los Angeles bound Air Canada flight prepared to depart Vancouver, Canada. Romney, through a spokesman, denied grabbing the rapper.

Proof positive the Herald will do absolutely anything to be able to mention Mitt Romney. What’s next? Do we get a headline every time some comic mentions him or any other politician the Herald favors? Oh, wait, thinking back to the Scott Brown days 3 weeks ago, when I learned that he likes extra cheese on his pizzas, thanks to the Herald, and that he parts his hair on the right, and that he likes his eggs sunny side up, and he uses unleaded gas in his truck, and puts 2 creams in his coffee, and no sugar…I guess if the Herald likes you, everything you do, and every time someone mentions you, it’s news!

Hey Sky Blu! Weird Al Yankovic just called and he wants his hair back.

Oh, and I just talked to your “homeboy” Mitt. And unfortunately the feeling is not mutual. In fact, he says he’s gonna beat your a$$. LOL.
