Carrie McCandless

Carrie McCandless was a teacher and cheerleading coach at Brighton Charter High School in Brighton, CO. She was accused in December of 2006 of having sexual contact with a 17-year-old male student during an overnight school camping trip. According to her arrest affidavit, McCandless supplied students on an October 2006 camping trip with alcohol, and “did everything except having sex” with a 17-year-old male student while another student slept on a couch nearby. She was fired from the school where her husband, Chris McCandless, was employed as the principal. She pleaded guilty in the summer of 2007 to sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and was sentenced to 45 days in jail. In March of 2009, she returned briefly to jail for violating the terms of her parole by drinking alcohol and being found in the bed of another parolee. She and her husband remain married.
Jill C Lewis

Jill C. Lewis, 26, a private school teacher in Brazoria County, Texas, is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.
Lewis, turned herself in, after being charged with having sex with the student along a deserted road in December 2007. Police allege Lewis and one of her students had sex on one occasion off a dead-end road in Friendswood, Texas.
She’s charge with having an improper relationship between an educator and a student, a second-degree felony punishable by 2 to 20 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
Autumn Leathers

Autumn Leathers, of Frostburg, Md., was charged Thursday with child abuse, fourth-degree sex offense, perverted practice and second-degree assault. She is alleged to have been having sexual relations regularly this summer with a 16-year-old boy from Mountain Ride High School in Frostburg.
Jennifer Glad

Jennifer M. Glad, 24, was a volunteer coach for the boys’ basketball team at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, Maryland, when she was arrested for allegedly having in sex with a 15-year-old male student.
On January 29, 2010, Glad was charged with four counts of sexual abuse of a minor and four counts of a third-degree sexual offense after turning herself into the Montgomery County Police Department.
In a request for a restraining order filed by the boy’s mother, Glad is accused of engaging in sexual activity and sending sexually explicit text messages to the boy beginning November 2009.
Valerie Roesler

On Sept. 20, 2009, special education teacher Valerie Roesler, 27, was found drunk in a car at around 2 a.m. with a 15-year-old boy.
Roesler was in her first year of teaching at Hayfield Secondary School in Franconia, Virginia, when police found her drunk with the boy who had allegedly left his home to meet her without telling his parents. The boy is not a student at the school and no charges of Roesler giving the boy alcohol or for any sexual-related crimes have been made.
Roesler was charged with delinquency and being drunk in the public place. The school has placed Roesler on unpaid leave.
Michele Taylor

Michele Taylor, 31, a physical education teacher at East Valley High School in Yakima, Washington, was arrested on Sept, 10, 2009, and charged with first-degree sexual misconduct with a minor and two counts of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.
Taylor, who is married and the mother of three children, has been under investigation since June 2009, after a student reported Taylor to police.
Taylor is accused of having sex with a 16-year-old student in the back of a truck while parked at Kmart. Police also say Taylor allegedly exchanged over 400 text messages, some contained suggestive content, with two boys ages 15 and 16, from March through Jun 2009.
